Re: Share a cuppa?

I'm not going to pretend I know what to say lol @ArraDreaming  - you win.

How's everyone's day @ArraDreaming @Bow @Oaktree @Abner @Shaz51 ?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yessssss @tyme 🎉👏🏾

Re: Share a cuppa?

@tyme @ArraDreaming

Please don’t shut down! Where would I go for coffee and a chat?

My day was super boring. First struggled to get the motivation to go to my volunteer shift at the hospital, then it was super quiet there today which really is a good thing. Did see one poor kid with fresh casts on both arms. Just his thumbs hanging out. Wondered to myself how he is going to the toilet. I guess he will have to get help. Poor kid. He looked about 10.

Anyway left an hour early and on train home now.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Crummy day here @tyme

How’s your day?

Re: Share a cuppa?

@ArraDreaming , you know what? I've NEVER been good with words. As a child, my siblings would use words to really get to me and tick me off so that I'd lash out physically. And of course, the one who 'physically' hurts ends up in trouble... I'm a lousy arguer... so I give it to you @ArraDreaming . Seriously, you win.

That being said, it makes you wonder why that the kids and people who are not as articulate and good with their words end up lashing out. I'm imagining all that built-up frustration within them... must be hard for them.

Re: Share a cuppa?

@Oaktree ... nah, if I'm the barista, I'll keep making the coffees even if it's outside a closed down shop.

Awww @Oaktree , poor kid with both arms in casts. That's tough. Make you wonder what the kid was doing! Do you enjoy those shifts? It sounds like it can be taxing on you sometimes. Are you able to speak out if you feel you can't do it?

@Bow Sorry to hear it was a crummy day. Besides the crumbed schnitzel and the apple crumble, what else was crummy about it? (Only if you feel like sharing). Do you still go to the markets for your mum? D must be so happy to have returned to school.

Re: Share a cuppa?

@tyme I can understand that you side I think you know me well enough to know I’m just having a laugh but yeah I can be on the side of not being able to articulate it’s not fun

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yea @tyme D was happy to be back at school yesterday. She has a male teacher this year.

I’ve been in hospital since yesterday morning. Yesterday and today have been a bit of a blurrr

Re: Share a cuppa?

I know coming up with comebacks has ALWAYS been my weakness @ArraDreaming  I've learnt to accept that lol.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Awww @Bow . I hope things clear up for you soon. Take it easy.
