Re: I can’t cope

I had almost finished alphabet bear prior to having a mishap with it.  I’ll get back to working on it and finish it at some point in time.  Atm is not that time @tyme .

Re: I can’t cope

Good afternoon @Captain24,

Your period being due definitely sounds like a contributing factor re: your lethargy... we know it is for me too! I have seen some videos pop up lately on IG about working in alignment with your cycle, so slowing down before your period in order to regulate and soothe the body. I wonder if you could explore this?

They look really fun!! What's your next one?

Ah, that's really interesting... it sounds like it works differently for everyone. I will definitely keep you posted. 🥰

Re: I can’t cope

Hello @Captain24 ! Done something wrong?? Of course not! Why do you say that? I'm sorry if I gave you that impression! Not at all!

@Former-Member , take your time 🙂 I'm not sure if I shared that I finished building my basketball? I'm building the shoe now.

I've also got Titanic waiting for me 🙂

Hope you're okay @Captain24 @Former-Member

Re: I can’t cope

It’s ok @tyme. Don’t worry about it, I was hoping I was home in time to delete it before you saw it.

Im not ok. Far from it.

How was your day?

Re: I can’t cope

Hey @AuntGlow

I did slow down. I looked after myself on Sunday and Tuesday afternoon. But it obviously didn’t help.

Im not sure what I’ll do next but it’ll be a couple of weeks away. I only get 4 days off this coming break, the Monday is recovering from nightshifts. The Tuesday I’m going to see my psych in person so I’ll leave here around 5:30am and should get home about 6pm. Wednesday I have to mow the lawns and Thursday I have to prep for work as I go back on Friday.

Defs keep me updated.

Re: I can’t cope

Did something happen at work @Captain24 ?

Re: I can’t cope

Yeah.. it’s really stupid but it just pushed me over the edge that I was dangling on. I’m tired of doing the right thing and getting overruled, by a trainee even. @tyme

The truck kept beeping all day. When everyone on my circuit backed under the digger the buzz went off when they left the digger the buzz went if, when my tub was going up it beeped, when my tub was going down it beeped. The computer screen beeped every time I left the digger and every time I left the dump.

All vehicles are supposed to be parked so that the first movement you do is forward. There was a car parked the wrong way. I didn’t care that it was wrong. No one ever says anything and it really doesn’t matter but it did my head in every time I saw it which was every 16 minutes.

So much overload. I wasn’t feeling good anyway. All that was just too much for me to handle. I’m not sleeping well as I keep waking up hot. I’m just really down and out and tonight it’s really bad.

Re: I can’t cope

Does a good BLAH and vent help @Captain24 ?

I wish I could 'solve' the beep issue, but more beeps will probably come out of it!

It sounds like it was a 'thorn in the flesh' issue where it wasn't that it was BIG, but it keep niggling until it tipped you over the edge???

Please correct me if I've got it wrong.

Now that you are home, what is something nice you can do for yourself?

Re: I can’t cope

A little @tyme

Oh the beeps were just too much today! It grated on my nerves! It made me angry.

That’s it… it just pushed me too far.

I just want the world to swallow me up whole right now. (If that’s not ok just deleted it and please don’t ban me)

Ive just had a hot shower and washed my really sore stitches.
