That sucks about the same box being ticked @TAB ...now you have to go through that whole process again to get the right paperwork - very frustrating

The sky is a funny colour, it has been for a while, but yesterday it got really noticeable. I think it's the end of the dust storm, from a bit further inland & a bit further down than me. Yesterday the sky went orange, all day; & it wasn't like you couldn't see your hand in front of you, but you couldn't see the horizon, it just sort of vanished in a eerie orange haze. It was hot, hot enough that I went & paid for the use of refrigerating gases - I bought 3 bags of ice, 1 for my evaporating water air cooler, 1 for the esky 'cause food won't last a day in that heat & 1 because it's cheaper to buy 3 instead of 2 - so I've got an extra in case it's hot again today. The weather site says the temperature is going to be nearly 10 degrees cooler today . . . but that's still mid to high 30's . . . & I still think that's hot. Took an AH last night instead of my normal herbal sleep assist, 'cause the air mucks with my nose, throat & chest - I slept really well 🙂 I'm hoping maybe there'll be some rain, the pictures I saw on the Internet where the big dust storm hit, had rain straight after it. There's clouds with grey bottoms though it's like it's been kind of overcast for weeks, just no clouds, instead there's been a sort of white-wash mist covering the whole sky. It's hindering my solar systems ability to charge batteries. I've been running out of power each night for a while. I think my head's de-scrambling a bit, I haven't been noticeably bothered, but I know myself a little - I dared to go outside my front gate, I pushed myself to face an anxious situation seeing my daughter for the first time in a year - I know it takes a while for my brain to process all that. I may as well be patient with myself . . . there is no rushing it.

Hello All reading
Last night I socialised at a literary event. Feeling lines being drawn but clear and not unkind. My old writers group was not meeting my needs, indeed quite sapped my confidence, people flourish after I spend time with them. I need to try something different, stop being so open and so nice. Still alive. Still hobbling along as a person and writing in the drawer. Met a lady from Lyceum club. Thinking of joining a club more in my price range. lol .. Not U3a. I joined them a while ago and trusted a bit, met a few nice people but the structure of it mean that people set up little kingdoms and I am tired of that. A lady on train suggested meetups. Mainly working on premise that I am entitled to "have a life". So plan is to go out whether or not I have company.
