Re: Self care- walking and cycling

Also have a goal as morning's get lighter and warmer for a 1 hour circuit on weekday mornings.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling

Managed a short walk this morning.

Goal is for 1 hour with a 6am start.

Managed 1/2 hour with a 7am start.

Feeling a bit tender after my tumble on the weekend.  Amplified by my big walk earlier in the week. A case of delayed consequences I suspect.

Hello @JB70 , @Former-Member , @Lilaca@Totman , how are you going today

Re: Self care- walking and cycling

I have again entered into a nationwide steps challenge through my university for September.

Have a goal of beating beating last years step count by 25%.  Totally achievable with some added effort based on current activity levels.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling

Still walking dogs daily (weather permitting). Has been challenging as Rose keeps wanting to jump on Henry and Mr Darcy has slowed down significantly ☹️

Re: Self care- walking and cycling

Splashed out on some new walking shoes as walking the longer distances was becoming painful.

Wow what  a differene. Well worth the investment.

Usually my shoes have to be talking before I replace them so it was hard lol.

Re: Self care- walking and cycling

Pleased to hear it Bro, I have found quality shoes are so much better @Determined. I would have no hesitation in hoisting out the old ones.
