Re: Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

Hello @Shaz51 @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @Determined @Karro and anyone else 🧡

struggling today with the usual ‘I hate my meds, u only want me to take them cos u don’t like the real me’ arguments. Sigh.

As I mentioned in the hot choc thread I’m taking him out to a movie tonight to help take his mind somewhere else.

Re: Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

@Karro  It’s hard dealing with the system. My hubby has become a master at saying what his team/drs/pyschs want to hear and it is so frustrating.

Hang in there x

Hope the distraction works @Lost1

Re: Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

Hello @Former-Member , @Lost1 , @Karro , @Faith-and-Hope , @Determined , @Former-Member , @Sasha_86

Ohhhhh my poor darling mr shaz

everything has finally got toooo much

soo much going on, mum, uncle , family , appts , physio , hospital , home assesments for mum ,endocrinologist, kidney specialist , work

and to top it off this morning was , the specialist gave mr shaz new meds last week , mr shaz rang them this morning to tell them the tablets are not working ,  but they were not there

after my appt , I got home and mr shaz got the phone call while i was away -- they got his name wrong , he was taken off the mental health list during last week

so he took his old meds and went to bed , been asleep all afternoon and still asleep

Re: Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

Oh dear  😟  thats not good @Shaz51

Certainly didnt need that to add to everything else!

Whats the chances of getting him back on the mental health list asap?

Sherry 🌸🧡

Re: Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

@Former-Member, they said NO

we were there last week and even made a appt to see the trepist and the specialist again

Re: Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

sorry @Former-Member  HeartHeart

it just took so long to get someone and it is all gone again , the support

this one was 30 kms away from us

mr shaz would love to get in contact with the ones 60kms who treated him 3 years ago xxxx

Re: Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

@Shaz51 Inam wondering if Mr Shaz has been given wrong information given mix up. I would ring to confirm follow up and therapist appt.

It can take a little while for steady state to occur and dose change to take effect. I was told 2-4 weeks with Mr D's latest tweak.

Re: Partners who chose to stay for the long haul

since I was not home when he answered he phone @Former-Member , seems strange as they wanted him to have a talk session

had a new person there , so I will try to get in contact with the one we spoke too xx
