And with sleep, in the past, I really struggled with sleep. I kept telling myself to sleep and if I didn't, i'd get more worked up and even less able to sleep!
Nowadays, if I don't sleep I let myself know that it's okay. It seems that once I'm okay with it, I can get up, do something and then go to sleep, even if it later. Give yourself some self-love π
By sharing these experiences, I hope you glean something. Because yes, sleep is so important too.
Good on you for having a bite to eat π @Vyv

Hi, new here. I was diagnosed with bpd about 3 years ago and despite it not being a shock (I was always a 'problem' child) it still controls my everyday life.
I moved to Aus almost 5 years ago from London, I have a background in art but I now work as youth worker although I can't work regularly because of my health.
I love the outdoors and connecting with poeple but I don't know many poeple here.

welcome @bl25 !! it's lovely to have you here. moving to Aus sounds like a big change, i've always wanted to visit London.
youth worker sounds like a really meaningful role - even if you can't work regularly, the fact that you try anyways means a lot. background in art - like visual art? or like humanities art?
i look forward to connecting with you π
