I Am Single,Alone And With Health Issues.

Here's my situation. I have anxiety, chronic fatigue syndrome(cfs),I'm housebound,I'm single and alone.Despite trying to make new friends and find old friends I'm getting nowhere. I try to keep busy at home with various activities online and offline.I try to keep my mind active so I dont get brain fog. I used to participate in community service groups until govt funding ended that.I had visitors regularly at the time.

I look after myself with Acupressure(just rubbing various pressure points for relief of a variety of symptoms). And,I use a technique that I find has helped me cope so much better with life's struggles. That one is called "Faster E.F.T.",short for "Faster Emotionally Focused Transformations".Its a tapping technique.I've been using it for about 4 years now. I had also had many hours of a technique done called "NET",short for "Neuro Emotional Technique".That one saved my life.I have it done when I can afford it.

I read dating books.I read books on friendships and even relationships.Have you ever read that book series ,"Chicken Soup For The Soul" ? Great books.I dont mind if you recommend books.

Can anyone relate to my experiences? Thanks for stopping by.

Re: I Am Single,Alone And With Health Issues.

@Denv12  Hi Denv12 I hope your long weekend is going okay for you. I am lucky I have my children to keep me company which is great otherwise I would be alone. Well that is not true my ex is extremely supportive and once told me he would make sure that I was never alone :). However I hear what you are saying. I am older than you I am sure and also do not want a relationship, am very wary of friendships as I find them hard to maintain.

These forums are great for socialising and finding support when you need it. Have you looked around the various threads like 'Good morning!' or the Friday night Feast thread'. There are many good threads here and caring people.

I promise you while you are here you will never be alone. Love greenpea xxxx
